  Friendly staff and decent food create a spot that only true locals really know about.
  
  Worth the stop for some fish and chips or onion rings while waiting for the ferry.

  Great view of Bell Island and the ferry. Had the pan fried cod and schruncions. The serving size was huge and it was delicious.

  Worst fish and chips I ever eat. The only thing this place has going for it is the view of bell island, which is probably the only reason the place stays open. Bagged french fries, canned gravy, a staff that lies about the freshness of the overpriced food and the attitude of the front counter staff made my visit the first and the last. Do yourself a favor, if you want good HOMEMADE food go to "By the Beach" and avoid this greasy spoon.
